Organizations that operate their business processes using SAP-based applications need more than just state-of-the-art software. They require a functional, stable platform that can ensure the continuous operation of critical processes. NetWeaver Administrator contributes to the former by managing the system’s performance, security, and high availability. Thus, an administrator can maximize operational time, reduce the likelihood of errors, and support the platform’s primary functions: enterprise resource planning, business intelligence, and applications hosted on cloud.
Modern organizations are actively looking to optimize their SAP environments and are in constant need of administrators who can ensure the reliable performance of their information systems.
What Is a NetWeaver Administrator?
A NetWeaver Administrator is an IT professional who installs, configures, monitors, maintains, and troubleshoots SAP NetWeaver systems.
SAP NetWeaver is the technical platform used for developing and running various SAP products, and it provides the infrastructure for connecting applications, databases, operating systems, and users. Thus, a NetWeaver Administrator ensures the proper functioning of all the components and monitors the security of the system.
The job of a NetWeaver Administrator involves following the standard procedures for the maintenance and repair of systems and hardware. However, they often have to perform other tasks associated with the upgrade of the SAP systems, such as backup management or SAP Basis operations.
